    Hello Teacher and Parents,

    The fourth-grade team’s vision is to build and inspire a culture of learners through self-reflection, collaboration, and innovation, fostering student and staff growth! I am excited to launch our “Bengals Corner” reading blog. Here you will find updates on classroom reading activities, tools to promote reading at home, and methods for cultivating a love of reading. These are just a few of the topics we will share in our reading blog for parents and educators. Additionally, it can serve as a forum for discussing student progress, acknowledging accomplishments, and offering advice on improving reading.

    Our theme is “Bengals Reading Corner,” which represents all the places we can go as lifelong readers!

    Weekly blogs will include:

    Activities for Reading in the Classroom.
    Discuss the books we read in class, any reading-related assignments, and how parents can engage in these activities at home.
    Reading Resources:
    Provide kids access to websites, applications, or library materials that can support their reading development and enrichment.
    How to Encourage Reading at Home:
    Provide helpful tips for creating a reading-friendly atmosphere, scheduling dedicated reading time, and engaging in reading conversations with children.
    Honoring Reading Achievements.
    Emphasize your students’ reading accomplishments, such as achieving reading objectives or cultivating a passion for reading.
    Handling Typical Reading Difficulties:.
    Describe typical reading challenges and how to overcome them, such as comprehension or phonics difficulties.
