Hello Teacher and Parents,
The fifth-grade team’s vision is to build and inspire a culture of learners through self-reflection, collaboration, and innovation that will foster student and staff growth! I am excited to launch our “Mustang Corner” reading blog. Here you will find updates on classroom reading activities, tools for promoting reading at home, and methods for cultivating a love of reading. These are just a few of the topics that can be shared in our reading blog for parents and educators. Additionally, it can serve as a forum for discussing student progress, acknowledging accomplishments, and offering advice on how to get better at reading.
Our theme is “Mustang Reading Corner,” which represents all the places we can go as lifelong readers!
Weekly blogs will include:

How to Encourage Reading at Home:
Provide helpful tips for creating a reading-friendly atmosphere, scheduling dedicated reading time, and engaging in reading conversations with children.
